If you check out the attached picture it shows how the wiring on a trailer should look. If you already have all of the wiring that you need for a 7-Way and you are just wanting a way to organize it then I recommend installing the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000.
This kit includes a junction box and ring terminals which make connecting the wiring to a 7-Way connector very easy and helps to keep things organized. The installation locations are labeled to help take the guesswork... view full answer...
The Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel part # PD4060K does have DC fuse slots which will be live while hooked up to shore power so yes, you can power DC accessories while only hooked up to shore power. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Classic Accessories and they said that the best way to clean the RV tire covers # 052963762808 is to use warm, clean water and NO soap. So a bucket filled with warm tap water and a sponge or soft cloth is the best way to clean the covers and make sure they are not damaged by harsh cleansers. view full answer...
The Greystone 26" Electric Fireplace with Crystals, # 324-000068 has some settings that can only be made from the buttons on the unit itself and not the remote. However, I do not see that turning off the flames feature while keeping the heat on is one of them. Please see the attached video. view full answer...
Typically, the 12-volt accessory circuit is used to maintain a trailer-mounted battery. The circuit will not charge a dead battery, but the amperage on the circuit is sufficient to maintain a fully charged battery. The 12-volt circuit would connect to the positive terminal of the battery on the trailer. The negative terminal of the battery on the trailer would be grounded to the trailer frame.
On most vehicles, the 12-volt accessory circuit will remain live even if the vehicle ignition... view full answer...
I contacted Lippert Components on your behalf and the Replacement New-Style Linc Analog Remote # LC292614 light control button on the remote will control a single light function at a time but not different lights throughout the unit as you asked. What light function is controlled depends on how the multi-function board is wired. Some customers have that board wired to control the awning lights or other lights on their unit but it is essentially like having a single light switch. view full answer...
Most likely there isn't a 12 volt power source already ran to the ceiling of your trailer. You can check but most likely you are going to need to route at least one heavy gauge wire with a minimum of 20 amps on it's circuit to the ceiling to power each of the fans.
From there you will be able to run power to each of the fans. It won't necessarily be easy, but this would be how an installer would go about installing 4 of the MaxxAir MaxxFan Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-06200K. view full answer...
On some 2015 Chevy Silverados the 12 volt circuit for the 7-way isn't completed under the hood of the truck. On the positive post side of your truck's battery there will be a wire that is taped to it that would need to be connected to the positive post of the battery and the circuit will be completed. view full answer...
This is a great question, and one that I've seen before and have spoken with Lippert about previously.
In my discussions they've mentioned that the Solera Family Room # LC362231 (16 ft awning) or # LC362232 (17 ft) should not have any problems in normal wind conditions less than 20-25 MPH. The tan body panels are made from a heavy duty nylon cloth and the screen sections will allow a good deal of wind to pass through it when open, but I can see how during sustained windy conditions it... view full answer...
In regards to the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Locks like the part # PAL8600, we cannot offer specific install locations. That said, I recommend looking for any truck accessory for outfitter locations in your area. If there are any automotive customizations shops in your area they should be able to install the lock as well. If you want to install the lock yourself we have many videos to assist on most models and you can look over the install instructions attached below. view full answer...
If you are able to install the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR in a way that protects it from freezing temps then you can definitely use it all year long.
Should you not have enough room for a standard water heater shape then I recommend checking out the Excel RV Tankless Water Heater # EX93FR which is a bit slimmer and only requires 2" of clearance on either side and 8" of clearance above the unit for adequate breathing. If this can fit in a place where freezing temps wont get... view full answer...
The Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger part # PD9160A is a device that takes input from an AC power source like shore power and then uses this to charge DC batteries. The DC batteries would then provide power to 12 volt accessories only. If you have AC 110/120 volt accessories that need power while an AC power source like shore power is not available then you will actually need an inverter such as the Go Power Industrial Pure Sine Wave Inverter part # 34279950.... view full answer...
The area on the 2017 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen that needs to be trimmed to install Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24949 is covered in the instructions which I have linked. I also included a picture showing this step from the instructions. Any trusted mechanic or RV dealer with a service center can install the hitch. I recommend calling around to see what different places charge for labor.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch # 13354 that you referenced comes with all the necessary hardware to install on your 2008 Acura MDX, so you will not need any additional accessories to complete the installation.
A hitch lock is not a necessity for the hitch installation; however, I highly recommend using a lock with both your bikes and bike rack. The Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # C23519 is an economical way to safeguard your investment. Another option is the Hollywood Racks # HRLHPC2 which is a... view full answer...
I spoke with my Westin contact who tells me that their grille guards aren't tested for collision with animals. Their grille guards would almost certainly offer a good degree of protection in the event you were to hit a deer, but the guards are designed to be a cosmetic accessory, not a push bar or battering ram.
There is no drilling to install this grille guard either. view full answer...
Depending on the amount of space between the two MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote - Powered Lift - 10 Speed - Smoke # MA00-07500K you could potentially have both fans react to the remote. The remote sends out an infrared signal to the sensor in the fan, just like how your tv remote sends a signal to your tv. The only way to prevent both fans from reacting would to have the spaced away from each other and using the remote close to the specific fan you're trying... view full answer...
The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent # MA00-07500K will install in a standard 14" x 14" opening in your 2013 Keystone Cougar, and you can get power to the vent simply by running the black wire (the power wire) to the 12V power supply, as you can see in the accompanying cutout of the linked installation directions I added for you. If you need additional wire you can use 16 gauge wire # DW02359-1.
This vent does come with all the necessary hardware for installation though you are going to need... view full answer...
I checked out the reviews for the M7 Speed MINI Ultimate Utility Hitch Receiver part # 327-60-160200 and was not able to find anyone else with this issue. I'm not sure if the sensors are going off with or without an accessory attached but I could see either way honestly due to its unique design. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do. I recommend looking through your owner's manual to see if the sensors can be temporarily disabled via the in-dash settings. If not, you're either going... view full answer...
No, the Edge Diesel Evolution CTS3 # EP69YR will allow you to reach Power Level 3: 135 HP & 240 LB-FT on your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 without additional accessories.
Please note that 135 HP & 240 LB-FT was the max that was tested. This was under controlled environments so the real-world application can make it a little more difficult to reach those points exactly. Power Level 1 is 40 HP & 85 LB-FT, and Power Level 2 is 75 HP & 180 LB-FT just for reference.

You are correct in the fact that you may get a little bit of room with taller tires but it really won't be a whole lot.
When it comes to using an axle flip kit I wouldn't be too concerned about the shifting weight from the horses in the trailer. The amount of height an axle flip kit provides is great for clearance but is dangerous only when you get the larger size tires and longer hangers as well.
To choose the correct kit for your trailer you simply need to note the diameter of your... view full answer...
